Not what I'd define as a "good movie"

That was pretty lacking in most aspects.

Graphics: Blocky, averagely drawn, mostly unanimated characters against drab scenery. 3/10

Style: The movie-esque presentation was original I guess. 5/10

Sound: The voice acting was crackly, but the Rome: Total War music added some needed atmosphere. 8/10

Violence: Tom Hanks' penis burns. And there's some swearing. 2/10

Interactivity: None whatsoever, not even a play/replay button.

Humor: None of the jokes made me laugh, though the concept of the movie made me smile a little.

Overall: I'm guessing this wasn't meant to be a real test of your flash animating capabilities, and wasn't meant to be particularly thrilling/funny, so I guess you were asking for a below-average rating. I doubt you care though, and I can't really blame you for that. :) 4/10

What a movie! That was one amazing parody of ng, lotr, and clock haters! It deserves every award it got. This is the sorta stuff that makes me <3 the clocks :D

Graphics - Amazing, to say the least. Everything was detailed, and well drawn, with amazing special effects such as reflection on various parts of clothing and dozens of characters moving on-screen at once. Definitely 10/10.

Style - I found almost everything about this flash to be well-concieved. Your newgrounds reiteration of the LOTR storyline was near-perfect, and there were many excellent details that surprised me such as how the clocks were wielding ng avatar weapons in combat. That was a stroke of genius. :) And you also bashed ki10 and mass-0ers very well. 10/10!

Sound - Very good. The voice acting sounded a heck of a lot like LOTR, and the battle-cries of the clocks, aggressive grunts of the lock hordes, and voices of all the other characters added nicely to the fantasy atmosphere. 9/10.

Violence - I wouldn't say this flash was violent or grisly, but there was a lot of action, such as when ki10 wailed on the clocks with the one vote, rofl. 8/10

Interactivity - Fundamentally, movies and interactivity don't go hand in hand, but you added a play button and scene selector I guess. :) 5/10

Humour - The very idea of the movie is pretty funny. LOTR with clocks, with ng as the backdrop... What more could a person want? :D

All in all, this was a really great movie. It didn't make me laugh as much as Broken Clocks, but it's still the 2nd best Clock day submission. Great work Strange! 5/5 ;D

StrangeClock responds:

Thank you very much! I do indeed bow to Broken Clocks.

Lol that was excellent

That was a great parody! The graphics were unique and full of character, the sound was pretty good with some superb voice acting, and the script was excellent! Good job, I hope you make a whole series outta this, and that this episode makes daily feature! 5/5 :)

Whoa

That was quite cool! Visually it was great. The frame by frame work was both imaginative and fluid, and despite the lack of colour and slight choppiness this deserves a ten easily. Try inserting more pauses in the animation. The music was nice 8-bit type stuff, reminiscent of old NES games. The characters themselves looked good and had a degree of charm, and the homages to various games were kinda nice. The randomness of it was also quite funny. I guess I can say that technically and artistically this was a heck of a lot better than "Dom Dom revolution" lol. Good job! 5/5

MrBigStick responds:

eeyep. this came before that godawful dom movie, which was only made because someone slipped vol 1 and 2 of megatokyo in with my purchases that i already paid for at the local comic shop. the only part i liked was the stick figure mini comic written by the guy who sells the shirts but that's it. i used the special serrated section to remove the shiny slick SGD comics and throw away the shitty megatokyo comics.

Not that good of a daily2oon i'm afraid

The first thing about this movie that caught my eye was the absence of the SS's fancy preloader and menu, which led me to believe that this was not going to be an average daily2oon. I was right.

Graphics: Some decent fbf and tweening, and it was bright, colorful, detailed, and pleasant enough, but wasn't spectacular in any way. 7/10

Style: I didn't get what exactly was going on in the movie; it seemed like slightly overused SS fare, and definitely wasn't noteworthy. 5/10

Sound: That damned song has been used in a dozen past SS submissions. Get some new ideas! 2/10

Violence: No fighting or bloodletting of any kind. 0/10

Interactivity: A standard-issue play button. Thatt's excusable in a movie, but I missed the SS's collab menu. :(

Humor: Some parts made me smile, especially when the guy's computer started insulting him. :) 6/10

In conclusion: Try harder next time! 7/10
